Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some of the most common question about our type of summer camp. If you require more information, please do not hesitate to contact us here
Gymnasts are placed into groups based on their skill level, but some groups may include a mix of levels depending on the number of participants. With 10 USAG levels, all Xcel levels, AAU levels, High School levels, etc., we have to combine campers by skill into 5–6 groups depending on camp size. All groups will have mixed levels within the group, where our staff will assign level-appropriate, individualized assignments based on each gymnast’s abilities.
While it may seem like your gymnast isn’t in the ideal group, please know that all campers are continuously evaluated. Our coaches strive to place each gymnast where she’ll be challenged, supported, and encouraged—without being overwhelmed.
While we understand the desire to observe, we kindly ask that parents refrain from watching during regular camp hours. Parental presence can sometimes distract gymnasts and impact their focus and progress. Additionally, our viewing area is limited, and large groups can become overwhelming for both athletes and families. However, parents are welcome to watch the last 30 minutes of camp, space permitting.
Yes. Most gyms are fully climate-controlled to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our campers. However, in some northern facilities, air conditioning may not be available, and in certain southern locations, extreme heat can occasionally challenge the system. In such cases, we adjust accordingly by providing more frequent hydration breaks to keep everyone safe and refreshed.
We promote a positive and respectful environment through clear rules and consistent positive reinforcement. Serious behavioral concerns are addressed directly with parents and may lead to dismissal if not resolved. Bullying is strictly prohibited—any gymnast found engaging in bullying will be sent home immediately without a refund!
Please bring a water bottle and girls are encouraged to stay hydrated at all times. Please ensure all water bottles have secure, spill-proof lids, as they can easily tip over during camp. While we love Stanley cups, they’re not always ideal for the gym environment. If your child brings one, please make sure it can be properly sealed to prevent spills.
